The deathcab sit somewhere in the middle of a Bermuda Triangle formed by music, marketing, and straight-up media mayhem, and woe betide any music journalist foolish enough to try to describe them. A band made up of four cartoon characters who both are and aren't alter egos for famous real-life rockers, they're equal parts vanity project, performance art, practical joke, and promotional juggernaut.
